BANDIPUR
Bandipur, a National reserve is located in the state of
Karnataka. It was established in 1931 and from then it has been
used for conserving various wildlife animals and birds. The
national park is surrounded with natural beauty and a quaint
environment. This National park is famous for the initiatives
which were taken by the state government to preserve the
endangered species of Indian tigers which are on verge of
extinction. This national park started The Tiger Project under
Indian govt. and started conserving national animals. This
national park also has an animal care center which looks over
the population and growth of the animals and treats injured

of Nilgiris and has Kabini, Nugu and Moyar rivers flowing
through the reserve providing the animals with natural source of

reserves of India as it contains many varieties of wild animals
in it. Two more wildlife sanctuaries are attached with Bandipur
wildlife sanctuary called the Waynad Sanctuary and the Mudumalai
Sanctuary, which also conserve various animals. This place is an
